Possible Summer 2027 Kenya Trip

We are exploring a possible trip to the Nambale Magnet School in Kenya for summer 2027. NMS was founded by Rev. Evalyn Wakhusama, an Anglican priest in Kenya who has visited Christ Church several times, most recently earlier this month. Rev. Evalyn was raised in a rural region of Western Kenya and after earning her degree from Yale Divinity School she went back to found a school serving children orphaned by the AIDS epidemic. NMS is now thriving and serves almost 600 students from preschool through Middle School, including both boarders and day students. The school has received outreach grants from Christ Church’s outreach committee and is a sister school with Ventana. If you have any interest in exploring the opportunity to visit NMS next summer, please contact Rev.
