Sunday Morning Childcare

We're delighted to announce some changes to our Sunday morning childcare arrangements. Katherine Gonzalez Cardona has recently joined our staff as Sunday Childcare Coordinator. In this role she will be responsible for planning activities and games for children during the 9am - 10am Adult Forum and Choir Rehearsal hour, as well as the 10:15am service. Katherine is a former preschool teacher and child psychologist currently working for the Palo Alto schools with a special interest in children with learning differences. She's got a lot of experience with kids of all ages and is enjoying getting to know our community. I'm also pleased that one of our former caregivers, Ana Layaoen, will assist Katherine on Sunday mornings, though Katherine will take the lead in program planning. We plan to continue offering Children's Church during the 10:15am service through early June and then will have a modified formation program for kids during the same time over the summer.
