Ventana Gratitude Week: Community Kitchen Kits

Ventana School welcomes the Christ Church community to join our annual Gratitude Week efforts! Ventana elementary students will be putting together complete, move-in-ready kitchen kits for the newly housed the week of November 18th. The church kept several boxes of items when cleaning out the church's kitchen which will be donated but we could use more gently used or new, cleaned, kitchen items including: plates and bowls; coffee mugs and glasses; knives, forks, and spoons; cooking knives, cutting boards, and mixing bowls; cooking spoons, spatulas, carrot peelers, and can openers; pots with lids, pans, and baking trays; toasters, coffee makers, and kettles. We are also collecting: newspapers and packaging that arrive with parcels, and boxes that are about 16’ x 16’ x18’, as we hope to pack our kitchen kits by reusing materials. Please drop off kitchen items and packing materials to the table marked “Community Kitchen Kits” in the corner of the Parish Hall anytime between now and Monday, November 18. Click here for more information about volunteer opportunities on November 18 and 19, as well as our kitchen kit collection
