In partnership with Trinity Episcopal Church, the Humane Prison Hospice Program presents a free screening of the Oscar nominated documentary, Prison Terminal: The Last Days Of Private Jack Hall, followed by a panel discussion with activists who are working to improve the way people die in prisons across the U.S. This nonprofit's mission is to help transform the way prisoners die in the U.S., in part by training fellow prisoners in compassionate end-of-life care and grief support. Their vision is a society where everyone, even the most marginalized in our nation's prisons, are supported to die with dignity and grace. This screening will take place on Sunday April 3, 2:00-4:00 p.m. at Trinity Episcopal Church, 330 Ravenswood, Menlo Park. Note: proof of COVID vaccination and booster are required for admission, per the Trinity Church Safety guidance.
