On August 30 and 31, members of the Christ Church community, along with our ecumenical partners, will offer a progressive Christian presence at Silicon Valley Pride. Everyone is invited to march in the parade on Sunday, August 30 at 10:30 a.m. While we don't typically encourage folks to miss Sunday morning worship, marching in Pride and volunteering at the booth are great ways to put our faith into action. We are also seeking volunteers to staff a booth that will be shared with several other local Episcopal congregations and ecumenical partners at the Pride festival. We will be present at the festival on Saturday, August 30, 6:00-9:00 p.m. and again on Sunday, August 31, 12:00-6:00 p.m. at Plaza de César Chávez Park in Downtown San Jose. Volunteers at the booth will hand out goodies and gifts, and offer a welcoming Christian presence to festivalgoers. Please contact Rev.
