On Monday, January 20, 6:30-8:00 p.m., the Christ Church community will co-sponsor a prayer vigil with Foothills Congregational Church and Los Altos United Methodist Church. The vigil will take place in the Creekside Building of Los Altos United Methodist Church, located at 655 Magdalena Ave. During this time, our communities will gather around the call to "Do Kindness, Love Justice," and to draw from our shared hope and faith as we continue to seek a kinder, more just world. We will hold space for the complex emotions that shape our journeys, acknowledging both the burdens we carry and the strength that sustains us. Through candle-lighting and intercessory prayer, we will honor the fears and concerns of our time, and find solace in knowing that we are not alone. All are welcome to join in this evening of reflection, prayer, and community support. Let us gather to bring light into the darkness, fortify one another, and move forward with love and determination.
