We are teaming up with our friends at Foothills Congregational Church for a hike, on Wednesday, June 5 our hike will be to Byrne Preserve in Los Altos Hills. It is adjacent to Westwind Barn. It is a lovely two mile plus hike through a creek environment that connects with Altamont and Page Mill. The trail is not good for walkers, uphill in some areas so bring poles. John Miller will lead us on this hike as he lives in the area and a bag lunch will be around a five hundred year old oak tree in his backyard. The hike will begin from the Westwind parking lot - meet here at 10:30. Lunch is optional- those going to John's home (27462 Sunrise Farm Road) can carpool from Westwind Barn. Please be on time as we will not wait more than 5 minutes.

Directions: Westwind Barn is about 3 miles from church. Take University N. Turn left on Edith and another left on Fremont where you take a quick right on Robleda. Stay on Robleda until a right on Elena. Take the  second left onto Taaffe. Stay on Taaffe until it ends. Turn right for about a mile or until you see Westwind Barn on your left (27205 Byrne Park Lane). Park here or on the road. Carpooling is encouraged.
