On Saturday, September 13, 9:30-11:30 a.m., CIC Ministries (Correctional Institutions Chaplaincy of Santa Clara County) is offering a training for volunteers interested in jail chaplaincy. The training will take place at Trinity Church (330 Ravenswood Avenue, Menlo Park). CIC Ministries is a community of people from diverse life experiences and spiritual backgrounds united in a common call to be with those who are incarcerated. They train volunteers to meet the spiritual needs of individuals inside Santa Clara and Santa Cruz County Jails and Juvenile Detention Facilities.
