A memorial service will be held for the Rev. Vern Jones at Grace Cathedral (1100 California Street, San Francisco) on Thursday, November 6, at 2:00 p.m. All are welcome! Please RSVP to Revvernjones@yahoo.com. As we shared previously, Vern passed away peacefully in his sleep on Saturday, August 16, at the age of 98. He was a familiar face to many Christ Church parishioners from his days as a priest for the Mandarin Chinese Congregation here and his occasional preaching at our regular Sunday services. He continued to be a presence as a parishioner at many Sunday services and Christ Church events until his declining mobility made it harder for him to get here.
