Join Revs. Cal and Claire as we continue our Adult Forum series, "She Who Is: Discovering the Divine Feminine in the Christian Tradition," on Sunday, September 14, 9:00-10:00 a.m. between the services in person in the Fireside Room. We will turn our attention to the holy women of the New Testament, delving into depictions of Jesus' most enigmatic companion, Mary Magdalene. We will explore how Mary Magdalene has been understood by Christians of many generations in Scripture, and we will also take a look at extracanonical accounts in the Gospel of Mary Magdalene. All are welcome as we immerse ourselves in faithful conversation about the divine feminine alongside feminist approaches to the Old and New Testaments in this series. Nursery care is available in the Parish Hall Library.
