The Association for India's Development (AID) will be holding their annual fundraiser gala again this year in the Christ Church Parish Hall. The event will be held over dinner starting at 5:00 p.m. Saturday, October 19 and will feature Jayakumar, the director of the Pesticide Action Network (India) and Somnath, an environmental and indigenous-rigths activist. This event is a wonderful chance to learn about real-life struggles for environmental justice in the developing world and how we can be in solidarity.
