Anti-Racism Training

The Executive Council of the Diocese of California now requires all vestry members to attend anti-racism training. The Diocese is offering a six-part class called "Becoming Beloved Community: Understanding Systemic Racism" to meet this requirement, with each unit presented through a brief video. Rather than watching these alone, the vestry has decided to use the hour between services to move through the course together, allowing some time each week for reflection and conversation. Even if you missed a previous video, everyone in the parish is welcome to join us! We’ll watch the final video, video six, this Sunday, September 3, at 9:00 a.m. in the Fireside Room or via Zoom.

To watch this series on your own, click here. There is an orange "Take Course" button below the heading, "Anti-racism Training for the Diocese of California" - click that to get access to the videos. You will probably have to create an account but there shouldn't be any cost associated with it.

Join via Zoom on Sunday
