Monthly CSA Food Drive - Sunday, September 13, 2026

Our next Food Drive for the Mountain View CSA will be on Sunday, September 13, 2026. The CSA Food Pantry is currently in need of small bags of rice, beans, pasta, canned soup, and canned meats. CSA cannot accept food donations which have expired. Please bring your donation of non-perishable food, along with those empty egg cartons, to the red wagon at the entrance by the upper lot. The story behind the empty egg cartons for CSA.  Ever see a broken egg in a carton of eggs in the store? The store can't replace the broken egg because the whole carton is contaminated, so some stores donate the whole cartons to CSA. That is where you come in supplying CSA with clean cartons for the donated eggs that can be salvaged. The good eggs (CSA volunteers) sort the donated good eggs into the empty cartons you supply for our CSA clients. Thanks!
