Lenten Study and Soup Supper

What's Saving Your Life Right Now? Resources for the Wilderness
This week we continue with a lovely series exploring how we draw on the resources of our spiritual tradition to navigate experiences of the wilderness, characterized by uncertainty, anxiety, and the sense of being in between a familiar past and an as yet unknown future. Each week we're hearing from a different speaker about how their work and homes have been impacted by the pandemic, and how they are taking care of their spirit in the midst of it all. We'll also learn one resource each session, in the hopes that you'll leave this series with at least four new practices in your own toolkit to sustain you in this strange sojourn.

Next week, on Wednesday, March 10th, we'll hear from CCLA Assisting Priest The Rev. Sheldon Hutchison, Ph.D.

On Wednesday, March 17th, we'll hear from parishioner Dr. Mark McCormick, who is a practicing psychiatrist.

It is such a gift to welcome such knowledgable, self-reflective speakers, able to bring to our conversations experiences from the fields of education, religion, and mental health. As was true last year, you are most welcome to enjoy your supper (be it soup or something else) while participating in the program. We'll hope to see you there!
